Vitebsk turns 1050!

On 29 June Vitebsk celebrated 1050th anniversary of its founding and the 80th anniversary of liberation from the Nazi invaders.

Throughout the day, the city held a series of events at various venues: colorful concerts, educational exhibitions and groovy open-air parties.

One of the most spectacular and long-awaited events for the city was the reopening of The Confluence of Three Rivers fountain after renovations.
