June 26 marks the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Belarus

Since its inception to the present day, the prosecutor's office has followed a glorious path of selfless service to the law and justice. Through their activities, the employees of the prosecutor's office of the Republic of Belarus ensure the unity and supremacy of the law, exercise protection of human rights and freedoms, and the interests of society. They oppose crime and corruption, and ensure the inevitability of punishment for criminal acts. Today, true professionals work in the prosecutor's offices of the Vitebsk region, conscientiously and honestly fulfilling their duty.

The solemn event, held at the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic on June 24, 2017, was attended by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk Region Poznyak A.G., the First Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Grebnev G.I., the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies Terentyev V.V., the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus Dysko G.I., heads of law enforcement agencies, authorities and administrations, other state institutions and organizations, educational institutions, and enterprises.

The Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus Dysko Gennady Iosifovich congratulated all prosecutor's office employees and veterans on their professional holiday, wishing them happiness, well-being, and strong health for many years to come, and presented state awards to the prosecutor's office employees.

In his speech, the Prosecutor of Vitebsk Region Sushchinsky Vadim Valentinovich thanked all employees of the prosecutor's office for their conscientious attitude to the performance of their official duties and expressed special gratitude to the veterans of the prosecutor's office for their difficult dedicated work and constant readiness to help young employees in mastering the complex prosecutor's profession.
