On April 5, a direct telephone line was held by the Prosecutor of the Vitebsk Region, Gennady Dysko. During an hour, he received six calls. Most of the applicants were residents of the city of Vitebsk, one call came from a pensioner from the Senno district.

During the direct line, Gennady Dysko delved into all the situations that prompted citizens to seek help and protection from the prosecutor.

People applied with various issues. In particular, regarding the procedure for compensation for material and moral damage caused to health as a result of failure to ensure safety during repair work, on consumer protection, on the execution of a court decision on the recovery of wages, and others.

Some of them were clarified directly during the direct line. Separate issues requiring additional verification will be studied by the prosecutor's office within the time limits established by law, and applicants will be given appropriate written responses.

As practice has shown, dialogue in this format is useful for both parties. Holding direct telephone lines creates the most comfortable conditions for the residents of the region, who can present their pressing issues without leaving their homes.

Open communication with citizens contributes to the reduction of social tension in society,

gives an opportunity to carefully analyze the situation and find ways to effectively solve emerging problems.
