December 9 - International Anti-Corruption Day

On the eve of the International Anti-Corruption Day, the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office organized and held an information campaign.

Prosecutors of cities and districts spoke in the media, posted materials on the websites of local authorities on issues of combating corruption and corrupt practices.

Vera Larkova, prosecutor of the specialized department of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, met with the work collective of OJSC "Dolomit" in Vitebsk. The event was attended by the general director of the enterprise, members of the anti-corruption commission, and members of the tender commission.

During the meeting, the prosecutor explained the main provisions of anti-corruption legislation, including the prohibitions and restrictions established therein. The effectiveness of the measures taken to control procurement and eliminate the causes and conditions conducive to the commission of corruption crimes and offenses was considered separately.

After the discussion, the representative of the supervisory authority answered the questions received.
