Relevance, clarity, comprehensibility. The Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office discussed issues of interaction with the region's journalistic community

At the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, as part of a seminar, issues of implementing the principle of publicity in the activities of the supervisory authority were discussed. Employees of city and district prosecutor's offices, the Vitebsk Transport Prosecutor's Office, who are responsible for this area locally, were invited to the training event.    

"Highlighting the results of the prosecutor's office activities is one of the most important components of our work. Through journalists, we inform the population of the Vitebsk region about the significance of the prosecutor's office, its role in protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, children, and the state as a whole. Thus, we form the image of the supervisory authority," emphasized the acting regional prosecutor Igor Korzhov, addressing the attendees in his welcoming speech. "A high level of organization and execution of work on publicity should be continued in the future," the head noted.

During the discussion, in addition to the stated topic, issues of media coverage of supervisory activities for the enforcement of legislation in the troops, concerning minors and youth, were also touched upon. Problems arising in the preparation of written materials, requirements for their design were considered, and examples were given. The methodology of public speaking by prosecutor's office employees aroused genuine interest from the audience.

The training event took place in a mode of genuine constructive live dialogue between the speakers and the seminar participants. Prosecutor's office employees actively asked questions, expressed their opinions, debated, and shared positive experiences of cooperation with regional media at the local level.

Following the event, it was noted that such a form of work as holding training forums and seminars allows for a detailed analysis of the reasons for committing errors in the activities of city and district prosecutor's offices in a specific area, proposing ways to eliminate them, and developing a unified approach to the organization and conduct of this work, and its improvement. The main thing is a real opportunity to hear each other.
