Alexander Subbotin visited agricultural facilities in the Orsha district
Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin visited the Orsha district on a working trip today.
How the President's instructions on establishing order at agricultural enterprises are being fulfilled and the readiness of livestock complexes for the winter stall period – these and other issues were the focus of the head of the region.
Together with the Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Moroz, he inspected the Ustensky Cattle Complex of RUP "Ustye" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, which houses over 2,000 head of cattle. The farm specializes in keeping the Red Danish breed of cows, which yields high milk production.
The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee also visited the "Ustye" farm and then proceeded to the livestock facilities of UP "Zubrevichi-Agro", where he inspected the conditions for keeping cattle and young stock, and communicated with the farm and complex workers.
Alexander Subbotin visited a dairy farm near the agro-town of Mezhevo in the Orsha district, where large-scale reconstruction is underway.
The project includes the construction of a cowshed, a calf nursery, three buildings for young cattle, a shed for bedding material, 12 trenches for silage storage, platforms for quarantining manure with slurry collectors, feed bunkers, etc. Construction work at the MTK is nearing completion. The head of the region inspected the progress of construction and installation work, and the conditions in which the animals are kept in the building for dry cows.
