Alexander Subbotin introduced the new head of the Dubrovno district, Oleg Makarevich

At the extraordinary 14th session of the Dubrovno District Council of Deputies, Oleg Makarevich was approved as the head of the district executive committee. On August 14, his candidacy for the position was agreed upon with the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.

Introducing the new head to the deputy corps, the Deputy Head of the Main Department of Organizational and Personnel Work of the Regional Executive Committee, Denis Zakharevich, noted that Oleg Makarevich has proven himself in various positions as a principled, proactive, and competent leader, proficient in modern management methods, and a strong manager.

At the session, the deputies unanimously approved Oleg Makarevich as the head of the district executive committee. The head of the region, Alexander Subbotin, congratulating the new head of the district, expressed confidence that the region will strengthen, develop, and prosper, emphasizing that the main thing in the work of every leader is the result.

– The district is not unfamiliar to you; you were born not far from here. The lands are familiar to you, and the people are excellent. I think everything will work out for you. We expect records from you! – Alexander Subbotin addressed the new head of the Dubrovno District Executive Committee.

Oleg Makarevich thanked the deputy corps for their support and the high trust placed in him. He promised to maintain the standards set by the previous head, Anatoly Lukashev, while multiplying achievements.

– It is necessary to promptly set priorities and organize work in such a way that it is as effective as possible. Special attention will be paid to agriculture, particularly the livestock industry. There are also many tasks in the fields of education, healthcare, and housing and communal services, – noted Oleg Makarevich.

Alexander Subbotin thanked the former head of the Dubrovno District Executive Committee, Anatoly Lukashev, for the significant contribution he made to the development of the region.
Oleg Makarevich was born in 1974 in the urban-type settlement of Orekhovsk, Orsha district. In 2001, he graduated from the Saint Petersburg State Institute of Service and Economics. From 1996 to 2004, he worked at industrial enterprises in Orsha. From 2008 to 2012, he held the position of Head of Administration of the Orsha District Executive Committee. He then headed the Orsha District Committee of the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers, and worked as Deputy Director of OJSC "Mayak Vysokoye" in the Orsha district. Since 2018, he has headed an agricultural enterprise. In September 2023, he took over the leadership of the Senno District Executive Committee.
