Анжелика Никитина поздравила с Днем знаний учащихся средних школ №2 и №21 имени Б.Л. Хигрина в Орше
On Knowledge Day, students of secondary schools No. 2 and No. 21 named after B.L. Khigrin in the city of Orsha were congratulated by the Deputy Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Deputy of the Regional Council of Deputies, Anzhelika Nikitina.

In school No. 21, 538 students will take their seats this academic year. Of these, 42 are entering the first grade, and the same number are celebrating Knowledge Day within the walls of their alma mater for the last time.

– The 11th-grade students are determining, and some have already determined their life path. I want to wish you success in your studies, determination, to choose a life's work that you love, and to return to your small homeland to make it better, to contribute to its prosperity, – noted the Deputy Chairperson.

Addressing the first-graders, Anzhelika Nikitina emphasized that the world of new discoveries begins for children from the first school desk.

– You are so beautiful today that one can't help but admire you. I wish you to always be curious, eager for knowledge, well-mannered, and to bring joy to your parents and teachers with your successes, – said the Deputy Chairperson.

She addressed many warm words to the teachers and parents of the schoolchildren.

In a conversation with journalists, Anzhelika Nikitina admitted that for her personally, September 1st is an exciting day.

– My daughter started the 10th grade today. You try to make this day memorable with the most positive and vivid emotions. After all, I evaluate Knowledge Day primarily from a mother's point of view. For me, September 1st is associated with memories of the small rural school where I studied, where there were 5-6 people in the classes. Undoubtedly, the material and technical base in modern schools is much better today, but teachers, just like in my childhood, are ready to fully dedicate themselves to children. In addition to knowledge, they instill in them love for the Motherland, respect for elders. In other words, they do everything to ensure that children are raised in the best traditions of patriotism, grow up to be worthy citizens of their country, and contribute to the development and prosperity of the state.

– It's sad that the school year will fly by, and I'll say goodbye to school, and my classmates-friends will scatter in different directions. But, on the other hand, a new stage in life will begin – more independent and no less responsible. My class profile is Russian language and mathematics. I also study physics in depth – I plan to connect my life with the IT field, – said Zlata Selyatitskaya, an eleventh-grader from School No. 21, about her immediate plans.

First-grader Mark Volsky dreams of becoming a military man. He came to school with a desire to learn sciences and make new friends.

– I want to study history and mathematics. I love discovering new and interesting things. I came to the assembly in a good mood, I learned a poem that I read in front of the whole school. Today is a joyful, good day, – Mark shared his emotions.

Masha Lavnikovich is entering the 2 "A" class this year with a special attitude. In addition to her favorite subjects – Russian, English, and mathematics – the young resident of Orsha intends to study computer science as an elective.

– And I want to work as a dentist, – Masha said with all seriousness. – I think it's a noble profession. I had a great summer vacation and now I will study with renewed vigor.
