More than 170 books are included in the list of literature capable of harming the national interests of Belarus
More than 170 books are included in the list of literature that can harm the national interests of Belarus. This was reported to journalists by Deputy Minister of Information Denis Ezersky.
The Ministry of Information is authorized to maintain a list of literature that can harm the national interests of the country. "This list includes 173 books, 99% of which are books that popularize the LGBT agenda, non-traditional sexual relations, gender reassignment, cruelty, and so on," Denis Ezersky informed.
He noted that these are popular European, Korean, and American authors. "Films are made based on their plots, they are available on the internet. Young people absorb all this. We will have to deal with many things. We must protect our society and youth from harmful influences, including through bans, which are aimed primarily at preventing our continuation, so that we disappear as quickly as possible and make room for those who crave this. Of course, this cannot be allowed," the deputy minister emphasized.
