More than 20 young employees of the Vitebsk region's Ministry of Emergency Situations took an oath of allegiance to the Motherland and the people
Young employees of the emergency services of Vitebsk region took the oath. The recruits will remember this important and exciting moment for the rest of their lives: they took the oath of allegiance to the Motherland and the people on a special day for professional service – Rescuer's Day.
Not only those who decided to dedicate their lives to saving people, but also their relatives and friends gathered in the hall of the regional museum named after Hero of the Soviet Union M. Shmyryov.
– The Ministry of Emergency Situations is a dynamically developing department that is famous for traditions inherited from our predecessors. One of these is the taking of the oath, which has brought us here. Go through your path with dignity, set goals for yourselves, and boldly achieve them. I wish you fruitful work for the benefit of our state, – said the Deputy Head of the Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Sergey Markevich, addressing the attendees.
He also noted that the department actively supports young employees. Thanks to active participation in state programs, new employees are provided with housing. The main thing is to prove yourself and establish yourself competently in the service.
Sergey Emelyanov, a veteran of the emergency services, wished those who took the oath to protect people with honor and dignity, to realize themselves in their chosen profession, and to multiply the departmental traditions.
The ranks of rescuers in the northern region have been replenished with 21 new employees. From this day on, their job is to bear responsibility for people's lives and be ready at any moment to become a fire-resistant shield for those in need.
