The letter of the law and the spirit of the law

A meeting was held between the delegate of the Sixth All-Belarusian People's Assembly, a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the seventh convocation, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on Legislation, Doctor of Law, Professor Egorov Alexey Vladimirovich and the staff of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Alexey Vladimirovich shared his impressions of participating in the Sixth All-Belarusian People's Assembly, which took place in Minsk on February 11-12, 2021. As a result of the meeting, the main theses put forward for discussion at the national forum were announced.

Alexey Vladimirovich also spoke about the key aspects of the draft laws under consideration by the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, in particular, the draft Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Public Service" and the Education Code.

Prosecutor's office employees asked questions of interest, including those concerning constitutional reform and social guarantees for public servants. Specific proposals were also made by the prosecutor's office employees to improve legislation and eliminate existing gaps and conflicts.
