Deputy Prosecutor of Vitebsk Region Georgy Korenko met with employees of Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Factory OJSC.

During the meeting with the administration and representatives of the enterprise's labor collective, the Deputy Prosecutor of the region informed them of the latest amendments and additions to administrative legislation.

He drew the attention of those present to the inadmissibility of organizing, conducting, and participating in unauthorized mass events, single pickets, and other destructive manifestations, explained the legal consequences for organizers and participants, and provided relevant examples.

The main reasons for destructive behavior in real life and the virtual world on the Internet were discussed.

"It is now difficult to imagine our lives and the life of modern society without the 'World Wide Web.' An infinite number of websites and social media groups offer users various types of information, images, and videos, which pursue goals of creation, learning, and positive development, as well as destruction through the placement of knowingly false information and data that distorts reality," said the Deputy Prosecutor of the region. "When viewing news feeds on the Internet, posts, and comments on social networks and Telegram channels, you should always be prudent, apply a 'filter' to your perception of information. Do not rush to draw conclusions and make decisions," Georgy Korenko urged those present.

At the same time, he identified a number of problematic issues in the employment of children after school hours and during holidays, and their active presence in virtual communities, which requires closer attention and interest from the families of adolescents.

Current issues of theft and fraud committed via the Internet, victimhood, and measures for the prevention of cybercrime were also discussed.

During his speech, the Deputy Prosecutor of the region answered incoming questions.
