Dynamics are on the rise. Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant impressed the head of the Vitebsk region

Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant is dynamically developing, keeping pace with progress. This opinion was expressed by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, during a working visit to the enterprise. He was shown aircraft equipment that is undergoing repair and modernization. The head of the region familiarized himself with the production base in the new universal production complex, the progress of investment projects, and visited the workshop for working with composite materials.

– Today, the enterprise is dynamically developing, new productions and new workshops are opening. Artificial intelligence is being introduced – from agro-industrial complex to industry. Aircraft equipment is repaired and modernized here, equipment for the forestry industry and agriculture is being prepared. It is gratifying to see that the dynamics have improved recently, qualified personnel are being recruited, and revenue is growing, – noted Alexander Subbotin.

It should be noted that the aircraft repair plant is engaged in the repair of aircraft equipment in cooperation with Russian enterprises. After all, all helicopters were produced during the Soviet Union era.

– To minimize the purchase of any parts, we are developing our own design documentation, working according to the documentation of the developer enterprise, – said the General Director of OJSC "Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant" Dmitry Sidorovich. – We understand that we need to move forward. Therefore, one of the most important issues today is that the plant has begun acquiring additional metal-processing equipment. There is already a program and prospects for the production of parts from different types of metals for enterprises of the Russian Federation that need them.
