Shares of 137 enterprises are offered for exchange for "Property" vouchers

The Committee reminds that the Government of the Republic of Belarus has decided to extend the circulation period of "Imushchestvo" personal privatization checks until December 31, 2030. The corresponding resolution was adopted on May 30, 2025.

A privatization check is backed by state property subject to gratuitous transfer to citizens of the Republic of Belarus, certifies the owner's right to a share in privatized state property, and expresses the size of this share (quota).

By acquiring shares, a citizen becomes a shareholder and, in accordance with the law, has the right to participate in the management of the company, receive information about the enterprise's activities, and also sell, gift, and inherit shares.

A shareholder can participate in shareholder meetings and express their position on issues submitted for discussion at the meeting, including the distribution of profits and payment of dividends.

In accordance with the legislation, a joint-stock company has the right to direct part of the profit remaining at its disposal after paying taxes, other mandatory payments, and covering losses of current periods, to pay dividends to the company's shareholders. The decision on profit distribution is made at the general meeting of shareholders.

If desired, acquired shares can be sold. The sale is carried out through OJSC "Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange" through the mediation of a professional securities market participant who is a member of the exchange.
