Dmitry Demidov congratulated the students of Secondary School No. 12 in Novopolotsk on the start of the academic year
Among the honored guests, the solemn ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, Dmitry Demidov:
"September 1 is truly a national holiday, because at one time each of us entered our first class, met our first teacher. This is the most unforgettable time in everyone's life. And now, as parents, grandmothers, grandfathers, we are sending our children to school – to this temple of knowledge, confident that they will become real, honest, fair people there, and gain knowledge that will be necessary for them throughout their lives."
Dmitry Vladimirovich noted the significant achievements of this particular educational institution, whose students achieve outstanding results and bring glory to the education system not only of the city of Novopolotsk but also of our entire country.
After the solemn ceremony, the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies took part in a thematic lesson "Relay of Generations: Preserving the Past, Creating the Future" in the 8th "A" grade.
Secondary School No. 12 was not the only educational institution visited by Dmitry Demidov: congratulations from the head of the Vitebsk region's deputy corps were also extended to the teachers and students of Secondary School No. 1.
