The craftsman's house in Postavy, built in 1770, was sold at auction
On December 17, the administrative building of Belsoyuzpechat at the address: Postavy, Lenina Square, 15, was put up for electronic auction by the committee, which generated significant interest.
The building was constructed in the 1770s as an artisan's house and has the status of a historical and cultural value, representing a monument of residential architecture in the Baroque style.
The artisan's house was planned to be divided into two parts – a production area and a residential area.
It is part of the architectural ensemble of the former Market Square in the city of Postavy, which was created on the initiative of the then owner of Postavy, the treasurer (Minister of Finance) of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania – Antoni Tyzenhauz, who at that time was developing mining and industrial activities here. The construction was carried out according to the project of the Italian architect Giuseppe de Sacco.
The building was offered for sale with a reduction of the initial sale price by 80% – for 21,155 rubles. There were three buyers for this price. During the auction, the price increased to 51,830 rubles.
The new owner became a local production enterprise from Postavy, which is engaged in comprehensive metal processing.
The artisan's house in Postavy became the second object with the status of historical and cultural value sold by the committee this year. Previously, a new owner was found for the former Bernardine monastery in Dubrovno.
Currently, the committee is offering 6 more objects with the status of historical and cultural value for sale. These are: the Carmelite monastery building in Glubokoye, the distillery building in the agro-town of Plamya, Senno district, the post station in the village of Pogrebionka, Senno district, the forge in the agro-town of Dvor-Nizgalovo, Beshenkovichi district, and manor houses in the village of Goloshevo, Tolochin district, and in the village of Novaya Zhizn, Ushachi district.
Auctions for these objects are scheduled by the committee for January. It should be noted that all objects are offered for sale for one base value. The mandatory condition for sale is their restoration.
