During the meeting, the issue of proper formation of statistical reporting, the quality of reconciliation of quantitative indicators with the actual state of affairs in all areas was discussed. Special attention was paid to planning and controlling the reception of citizens and legal entities in the prosecutor's office, including scheduling personal appointments with the prosecutor's office leadership. "I receive all people, the doors of the prosecutor's office are open, and at the same time, it is necessary to intensify the activities of responsible officials in organizing reception days and regulate the duration of personal appointments," noted Vadim Valentinovich. The regional prosecutor also proposed to maximize the use of video conferencing for the prompt conduct of official business events of the supervisory authority.
In addition, issues of strengthening service and labor discipline, the preventive component in this area, personnel selection and placement, training of young employees, and development of their potential were considered. "The most difficult work is personnel, because it involves people," emphasized the regional prosecutor and recommended paying attention to the socio-cultural sphere as well.
"We are working in all areas, there are results that we can and should tell society about. At the same time, the priority is the internet platform; the information provided by the prosecutor's office should be readable, oriented towards the relevant target audience, especially on the Internet," demanded Vadim Valentinovich during the discussion of the prosecutor's office's performance results on publicity.
When preparing written materials for the media and holding press events, attention should be paid to the anti-drug theme, domestic crime, and especially the fight against corruption and corrupt practices. "The fight against corruption is the main thing that the prosecutor's office should be engaged in,"
the regional prosecutor is convinced. The leadership of the supervisory authority of the region also demanded to improve the quality of preparation of materials for the press, to exclude facts of meaninglessness and insignificance of the information occasion, to prevent the provision of unverified and low-quality information about the work of the prosecutor's offices of the Vitebsk region to the journalistic community.
