Economic Forum "Belarus - Central Asia. Paths of Cooperation" to be held in Brest

05.06.2026

The economic forum-workshop "Belarus - Central Asia. Paths of Cooperation" will be held in Brest on June 17. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Valery Labun, General Director of the Brest Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The event will serve as a platform for discussing current strategies and practices for Belarusian manufacturers to enter the rapidly growing Central Asian market. "Against the backdrop of a changing global economy and the global restructuring of supply chains, the importance of cooperation between Belarus and the dynamically growing countries of Central Asia is increasingly growing, creating new opportunities for domestic exports and market diversification. The forum-workshop will allow for discussion of promising directions and existing trade barriers, and to receive step-by-step tools from practical experts on entering the markets of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan," noted Valery Labun.

It is expected that the forum will bring together over 150 business representatives, domestic and foreign experts with experience working with the Central Asian region in various fields. Belarusian companies will be shown a clear path to enter the markets of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. Experts will advise on how to choose a niche, overcome barriers, select a partner, and achieve sustainable exports with minimal risks.

The event is organized by the Brest Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the BelCCI.
