Vitebsk machine-building company eyes EU market

The
company is busy certifying its products for compliance with EU standards. The
company's specialists are also working on three APK-30 VIPO fire lifts on the
FORD base chassis to a customer from Poland. “Our hoisting and transport
equipment is competitive in terms of price-quality ratio. We are set to
continue searching for opportunities to advance to the EU market,” said Andrei
Sidorov. Together with MAZ partners, the company is working on options to enter
the market of African countries. To expand the geography of exports, the
Vitebsk company also considers as promising such countries as Cyprus, the Philippines
and Egypt. The company supplies almost 100% of its products to foreign markets.
The main export destination for Vitebskiye Podyemniki is Russia which accounts
for some 60% of the company's sales. The Belarusian manufacturer occupies more
than 30% of the Russian market of hydraulic lifts. The company is also actively
working with partners from Central Asia, in particular from Kazakhstan and
Uzbekistan, and is present in Transcaucasia. The company has recently
intensified cooperation with Ukraine, where the Vitebsk company opened its
representative office. Founded in 2004, the private machine-building company
Vitebskiye Podyemniki is a part of the group of complementary legal entities
specializing in the lifting and transportation equipment manufacturing. The
company produces more than 80 models of equipment, including drilling and
crane-manipulator installations, tail lifts. Annually the company produces
about 450 machines of various types. Vitebskiye Podyemniki is a corporate
partner of the leading car manufacturers of Belarus and Russia.
