There is such a profession – to defend the Motherland. Prosecutors of the Vitebsk region held an information campaign

The Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office pays special attention to the civic-patriotic education of youth.

Every year, prosecutors address students of educational institutions in the region, hold meetings with veterans, as well as with conscripts, and participate in other thematic events.

This year, as part of an information campaign, prosecutors, together with representatives of military commissariats, held over 40 thematic meetings on the topics "Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus: History and Modernity", "An Honorable Title – Defender of the Fatherland", "You Have a Summons from the Military Commissariat", and also organized the consideration of criminal cases under Article 435 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus in a field court session.

During the meetings, in addition to speeches on relevant topics, prosecutors answered the questions of those present.

The Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office will continue its established practice of participating in civic-patriotic events in the future.
