– The Vitebsk Oblast Media Laboratory has been operating under the regional newspaper "Vitebskiye Vesti" for three years. It is a career guidance and educational platform for girls and boys interested in journalism and planning to develop in this field. During their studies, the participants attend various master classes, a series of seminars, learn journalistic skills, and implement various media projects, immersing themselves in this profession. I am sure that many of them will soon join the ranks of correspondents, photojournalists, and videographers. As a "media mom," I will support the participants in all their endeavors, – noted Yulia Novikova, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the regional newspaper "Vitebskiye Vesti" and Head of the Vitebsk Oblast Media Laboratory.

The forum hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the regional competition for young journalists "Media Laboratory Work." The participants prepared materials in three nominations: "Best Report," "Best Photo Report," and "Best Video Story about an Event."

Diplomas and commemorative prizes were presented to the winners by Vyacheslav Krol, Deputy Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

– I am glad to be part of a media family where you are always supported, given valuable advice, and helped to unlock your creative potential. I am grateful to our "media mom," Yulia Novikova, for becoming our teacher and helping us bring media projects to life. It is pleasant that my work was duly appreciated with such significant awards. This has given me the strength to move forward, – emphasized Margarita Zemtsova, a graduate of the third cohort of the Vitebsk Oblast Media Laboratory.

The training provided colossal experience to Maxim Batursky, a graduate of the second and third cohorts of the Vitebsk Oblast Media Laboratory and Chairman of the primary organization of the "Patriots of Belarus" public association at the OJSC "Vistan."

– In the Media Lab, I learned to work in a team and adapt quickly to circumstances. The practical immersion in the media product creation process was especially valuable. It's a real school of life where everyone can find their calling and discover new talents. It was a pleasure to learn from professionals. I am grateful for the atmosphere of creativity and mutual assistance that prevailed throughout the training. I wish the guys to value the experience gained, support each other, and bring new creative ideas, – said Maxim Batorsky.
