Where it's thin, it tears
A training and methodological seminar was held at the USC of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region with investigators from cities and districts of the region who specialize in investigating criminal cases of a corruption and economic nature.
A representative of the regional prosecutor's office took part in the seminar.
The prosecutor emphasized in his speech the reasons for acquittals, acts of prosecutorial and judicial response in criminal cases of crimes against the interests of service.
Also, issues of correctly identifying the subject of a crime against the interests of service, the concept and signs of an official document, problems of qualification and observance of the rights of the accused to defense in criminal cases of this category, and other relevant issues were considered in detail.
Holding such training sessions will help prevent mistakes during the investigation of criminal cases of this nature and will allow for the improvement of investigative work as a whole.
