Main Statistical Department: 2.6 thousand new apartments were built in the Vitebsk region in 9 months of 2021

In January – September 2021, organizations of all forms of ownership built 2.6 thousand new apartments. 215.9 thousand square meters of total housing area were commissioned.

For citizens registered as in need of housing improvement, 91.1 thousand square meters of total area were commissioned, or 42.2% of the total volume of commissioned housing.

Of the total volume of commissioned housing for citizens registered as in need of housing improvement, 77.2 thousand square meters were built using state support.

For large families, 58.6 thousand square meters of total housing area were commissioned.

In rural settlements, 52.4 thousand square meters of total housing area were commissioned, or 24.3% of the total commissioning in the region.
