Igor Sergeenko visited Postavy district: focus on citizens' appeals and fodder harvesting progress

17.06.2026

During his working trip to the Postavy region, the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, the authorized representative of the Head of State in the Vitebsk region, Igor Sergeenko, focused on issues of socio-economic development of the region, the work of one of the leading agricultural enterprises of the district during the fodder harvesting period, as well as personal reception of citizens and legal entities.

The first item on the agenda was the personal reception of citizens and legal entities. 7 residents of Postavy approached Igor Sergeenko with their questions. The topics of the appeals concerned housing, pension provision, medical care, payment for utility services, and the development of sports infrastructure.

Each appeal was considered in detail. For a number of issues, instructions were given to the relevant services and authorities for further study and adoption of necessary decisions.

Then Igor Sergeenko visited OJSC "Novoselki-Luchai", where he familiarized himself with the progress of the fodder harvesting campaign and the organization of agricultural production processes.

Special attention was paid to the efficiency of equipment use, compliance with technological discipline, and the execution of seasonal agricultural work.

Summarizing the visit, Igor Sergeenko noted that at present, issues of fodder harvesting and crop care are particularly relevant for the Vitebsk region. Despite difficult weather conditions, the region's agricultural organizations are working ahead of schedule due to competent labor organization, discipline, and modernization of the technical fleet, including the use of unmanned aviation.

- In general, the work is proceeding about one and a half times faster than last year's pace. People's mood is optimistic and businesslike. As weather conditions improve, the pace of fieldwork will increase, - emphasized the Chairman of the House of Representatives.

Working trips of this format allow not only to control the implementation of tasks on the ground but also to promptly respond to citizens' appeals and make decisions on current issues of regional development.

A personal reception of citizens and a visit to the agricultural facilities of the district became an important part of Igor Sergeenko's working visit, confirming the unchanging principle of state policy: attention to people, support for regions, and constant control over the resolution of issues that concern the country's residents.
