Personnel Day: Appointment of the General Director of JSC "Vitebsk Oblagroservice" Approved
Personnel decide everything. It is this postulate that explains the close attention of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, to new leaders. Before a candidate for a management position is invited to the head of the region's office, a multi-round procedure precedes it: from selecting a candidate to verifying their competence, including management potential. Nikolai Sherstnev not only studies the personal files of each person in detail but also considers it important to personally ensure that managers understand how to change the entrusted area of work towards efficiency.
Alexander Selionov has been approved for the position of General Director of Vitebsk Oblagroservice OJSC. He has been working in this organization since 2010, and for the last 7 years as chief accountant. The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee is instructing the head to bring the subordinate organizations to a new development trajectory, reviving their entire initial functionality. This includes the creation of mechanized detachments that should be involved in plowing, soil cultivation, sowing, application of mineral and organic fertilizers, chemical treatment of crops, harvesting of agricultural crops, and fodder preparation. Another important point is to make wider use of the opportunities for repairing agricultural machinery, units, and assemblies. The manager is guided to evaluate the enterprise's actions from the perspective of maximum benefit in order to ensure guaranteed profit.
A separate personnel item is the approval of contract extensions. The heads of agricultural enterprises Agrositsy of Dokshitsky District, Sergey Kuchko, Koroli and Konstantinov Dvor of Gluboksky District, Alexey Abramchik and Vasily Yakimovich, respectively, went through this. The main line is the economic analysis of the efficiency of organizations' development. By the way, it was precisely by milk yield and weight gain of livestock that this work was evaluated. There was also room for constructive criticism. For the most part, old management approaches hinder reaching new heights. Agromenagers are reminded: milk throughout the year remains a guarantee of stable revenue, in the receipt of which the team should be interested.
This product does not tolerate a superficial approach. To achieve high performance, it is important to concentrate on everything: from the necessary feed base and balanced, protein-rich diets to livestock survival and proper keeping conditions. Speaking of the latter, all that is required is free space, adequate lighting, good room ventilation, and deep bedding. This requirement is neither new nor difficult, but the head of the region sees that not everyone manages to fulfill it. Without a rational approach to technological stages, the expected result will remain a distant prospect. Nikolai Sherstnev is confident that the development of any enterprise is based on three orbits: a strong management strategy, clear economic calculation, and hard work. At the same time, it is important to form a strong team of specialists "tuned" for results. By the way, Nikolai Sherstnev intends to familiarize himself personally with the situation at "AgroSitsy," announcing an upcoming working trip. The contract extension session was continued by the director of UP ZhKH of the Postavy district, Fyodor Tanana. He is focused on the need to comply with all key parameters. Among the priorities are reducing heat loss, as well as establishing and maintaining order in the Postavy district. It is important to make a breakthrough by increasing the volume of services rendered. According to Anatoly Linevich, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, who participated in the personnel day, key points on the enterprise's order map could be facilities in the neighboring Gluboksky district, which is preparing to host the regional festival-fair of rural workers "Dazhynki" next year. And there, a significant amount of landscaping and repair work will need to be done. The direction of progress has been outlined for the managers. Nikolai Sherstnev is convinced that no obstacles should stand in the way of increasing operational efficiency, especially for those who are used to working conscientiously and with a sense of ownership. Deputy Head of Department Main Department Ideological Work and Youth Affairs Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Olga BULAVKA.
