Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection: In the Vitebsk region, aid to families for preparing children for the academic year amounted to 3 million rubles

As evidenced by the weekly monitoring conducted by the Committee for Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, all large families with school-aged children, numbering over 10 thousand (19.8 thousand children), have received financial assistance for preparing children for the academic year from the local budget. 1.5 million rubles were allocated for these purposes.

Low-income families, including large families, have been provided with state targeted social assistance. This type of assistance was received by 682 families (1569 children) totaling 679.3 thousand rubles.

Parents of schoolchildren received assistance at their place of employment through the funds of trade union organizations or employers. Assistance at the place of employment was received by 7 thousand families (11.7 thousand children) totaling 726.4 thousand rubles.

Approximately 700 families (1.6 thousand children) received assistance from public associations and organizations, including humanitarian and charitable aid, totaling 106.7 thousand rubles.
