Regional Health Department: Two additional vaccination points will open in Novopolotsk

From October 9, residents of Novopolotsk will be able to get vaccinated against COVID-19 not only in healthcare facilities, but also at new vaccination points that will start operating on the basis of Housing and Communal Services Department No. 5 and in the exhibition hall of the city museum of history and culture.

Those wishing to be vaccinated against coronavirus can also visit similar points in Polotsk. There, they can be found at the railway station and in five libraries located in each of the city's residential areas. Three vaccination points operate in Orsha and two in Vitebsk. In the regional center, they are located in the shopping centers "Trio" and "Marko-City". The regional health department noted that if necessary, additional vaccination points will be opened in Vitebsk, and for now, there are no queues at the existing ones, and vaccination can be obtained at any convenient time, for which you need to have your passport with you.

Foreign citizens can also get vaccinated against COVID-19, but on a paid basis. For them, 8 vaccination points have been organized in the region: in Vitebsk, Orsha, Polotsk, Novopolotsk, Lepel, Braslav, Verkhnedvinsk, Glubokoye. You can sign up for vaccination via the Internet or by personally contacting the central district hospitals (CRH) of these settlements.

In addition to stationary vaccination points, about 50 mobile teams operate in the Vitebsk region: one in each of the 18 CRHs, 5 in Orsha and Novopolotsk, 4 in Polotsk, and 16 in Vitebsk. Daily, medics as part of mobile teams vaccinate citizens of the non-mobile category at home - disabled people of groups I and II. Upon request, they visit enterprises and organizations of the region, educational institutions, if collective vaccination is necessary there. Over the past week, medics of the region have visited large enterprises in cities and district centers, educational, cultural, sports institutions, as well as territorial divisions of heat and electricity supply enterprises, and executive committees of all levels. Mobile team specialists have all available vaccines of Russian and Chinese production at their disposal.
