Results of the Vitebsk Transport Prosecutor's Office for 5 months of 2017

For 5 months of 2017, Tsarykov A.A. held 1 coordination and 10 operational meetings, and sent 3 information memos on the state of legality and crime fighting in the Vitebsk transport region to state bodies.

Under his leadership, the prosecutor's office conducted 21 inspections of compliance with legislation, which resulted in 24 submissions, 17 orders, 21 protests filed, 17 people officially warned, 68 people brought to disciplinary action at the prosecutor's request, 21 to material liability, 15 individuals and legal entities to administrative liability, 6 claims filed with the economic court and 2 with the general court.

31 criminal cases under production, 57 materials on refusal to initiate a criminal case were studied, 4 unfounded decisions of inquiry and investigation bodies were overturned, of which, based on the results of an additional check, 1 criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. 10 criminal cases were studied and sent to court. 1 criminal case was terminated with 1 person brought to administrative responsibility. 1 decision to suspend the preliminary investigation was overturned. 66 sanctions were issued for procedural actions and operational-search activities. The detention of 5 citizens was sanctioned.

2 demands were issued for violations identified in the activities of the investigation bodies.
