And if a manager is asked at a personnel day what he will start his next day with, it means that tomorrow he will be held accountable for the result. Modern management is highly sensitive to time. Yes – planning, control, coordination, motivation. But without strategic calculations, forecasts, and intellectual resources, one cannot win in competition.

At the personnel day, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev constantly reminds new leaders and those who report for contract renewal that without achieving positive dynamics in the economy, the results of their activities will melt away like the first snow. It is necessary to show willpower, resourcefulness, and calculation to confidently move towards the goal.

Director of the regional transport enterprise "Operator of Transportation" Sergey Marshalovich will have to build a balance of interaction between customers and carriers. And the speed at which he develops the logistics of the new business depends on the operation of the transport system that provides passenger transportation. Private businesses are currently ahead of state structures in the efficiency of road transport. The new organization has been set a serious task to streamline the transport movement system so that both passengers are satisfied and the organization becomes profitable. The deadline for solving this task is strictly limited – a matter of days and weeks.

Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev drew the young leader's attention to intensifying efforts to attract direct foreign investment and sell plots for the creation of tourist infrastructure.

- The resort area is a magnet for business, - emphasized the chairman. - The District Executive Committee has been granted the right to sell several plots

on picturesque lake shores, but there is not enough information about it. Why not launch advertising campaigns on television, place offers in major Russian cities? Do not expect investors to come on their own.

The human factor remains key to the success of an enterprise, and especially for the agricultural sector. The list of heads of agricultural organizations has been updated in three districts. In Lepelsky District - the "Zaozerye" branch of "Vitebsky Meat Processing Plant" OJSC is again headed byAlexander Bykov. Previously, seven years ago, he already headed this key economic entity for the region. His task is to make the branch an example for others. To achieve this, it is necessary to at least double all production and economic indicators. And this cannot be done without strict technological discipline. Another factor for growth is the expansion of sown areas. Land should not be idle, let alone overgrown with grass; fields must be used efficiently.

The need for an individual approach to each field was discussed during the appointment of Vyacheslav Kazura as director of "Baliny" OJSC in the Verkhnedvinsk district.

- The farm should have showcase fields, - believes Nikolai Sherstnev, - which will delight with a good harvest. A family field, like a branded watch, will show the exact result of your concentrated efforts, if you do everything technologically correctly. You just need to not be afraid to experiment. After all, in such fields in the Orshansky district, hybrid rye grew with a yield of 100 centners per hectare.

Artur Sysa, a young engineer, has been appointed director of the Yu. Smirnov branch of "Orshansky Grain Processing Plant" OJSC. Positive trends have emerged in the enterprise's economy. It is important to continue this growth by raising technological and executive discipline to a higher level.

Discipline was also discussed at length with the directors presented for the extension of contracts. Three are from Dubrovensky District: Oleg Volodkevich (Pridubrovenskoye OJSC), Alexander Zaitsev (Komanina OJSC), Alexander Murashkin (Bobrovo-Agro OJSC).

- The lands of your region are capable of giving much more thanyou have today," the chairman is convinced. "If the head is in his place, professionally delves into crop production, animal husbandry, and economics, there will be no failures, and the return will increase significantly. You just need to see the perspective."

Compliance with technological processes in animal husbandry and farming, increasing livestock density, and expanding arable land have been demanded from directors of Kup "Dokshitsky" Alexey Asayonok, and OAO "Pridvinsky" of Shumilino district Vladimir Dyatlov. Economic activities in "Pridvinsky" and "Rubezhnitsa" (Liozno district) have been taken under special control by the regional committee for agriculture and food. Winter is ahead, and the construction of an animal husbandry complex in "Rubezhnitsa" must be completed in the near future. This is the instruction of the chairman of the regional executive committee.

Bringing agricultural organizations to profitable production is a task set by the Head of State. And all the energy of agricultural management should be directed towards its solution.
