Personnel Day: Nikolai Sherstnev approved the appointments of heads of agricultural organizations in the region
Skills, executive discipline, initiative – these were the qualities that interested the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, when making personnel decisions. An objective and pragmatic assessment of candidates' competence levels became the main criterion for selecting new leaders.
Valery Lappo, approved for the position of Director of the Glubokoye Meat Processing Plant, has taken a step up from his previous role as deputy. Imparting an impulse to the enterprise's economy is among the top priorities voiced by Nikolai Sherstnev to the new head. The details of the regional head's thesis are as follows: improving the product "matrix" and production technology, and reducing cost resources. At the same time, the manager is advised: when sales markets dictate new conditions, it is necessary to show flexibility and maneuver to avoid missing out on profits. To achieve this, it is important to develop a winning marketing strategy that secures the meat processing plant's products not only in stable export markets but also makes them competitive in the domestic market. The manager is also given a carte blanche to form a strong team within the organization and to tighten control over production and executive discipline.
One of the key notes in the business notepad of Artem Rozhnov, approved for the position of Director of the "Konstantinov Dvor" farm in the Glubokoye district, is animal husbandry. The quality of raw materials must be ideal, and it is "dairy" money that is the most important lever for the farm's economy. Without a rational approach to all technological stages, good production indicators will remain a distant prospect.
Vladimir Kostyukov is the new manager of the "Ivansky-Agro" farm in the Chashniki district. His previous position as Director of the "Krasnolukskoye" enterprise in the Chashniki district has been taken by Evgeny Sapelko, who previously worked as a deputy. Another "agrarian" personnel decision is the approval of the contract extension for Petr Kunshtel, Director of the "Lovzhanskoye" farm in the Shumilino district. When setting priorities for the leaders' work, the head of the region also pays attention to the culture of farming.
strict adherence to technical regulations requires significant effort, knowledge, and experience to be applied to the land. The culmination of this work is reflected in the production and economic performance figures. Incidentally, Nikolai Sherstnev, announcing an upcoming working trip, intends to personally familiarize himself with the situation at "Lovzhansky".
The round of negotiations on contract extensions was continued by the heads of UP ZhKH Postavsky District Ilya Glushonok and "Beshenkovichi Kommunalnik" Igor Slivets. The majority of issues, predominantly minor ones, that the population of the region brings to the leadership, concern this sphere. In the districts, they need to be systematized and consistently resolved.
The bottom line: managers and their teams must work like clockwork. And the current format of personnel days essentially spurs the integration of all parts of a large mechanism that should generate an effective development model for both industries as a whole and organizations in particular.
