Personnel Day: Nikolai Sherstnev approved the appointments of heads of the Polotsk and Glubokoye agro-industrial associations
We remind you that the transformation in the agro-industrial complex, which Vitebsk region has been pursuing systematically and in stages, is aimed at increasing the level of agricultural production. This is directly related to the growth of the well-being of villagers, and therefore to the retention of personnel in rural areas. This concept is reflected in Presidential Decree No. 70 "On the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Vitebsk Region," in accordance with which 7 agro-industrial associations operate in the region. These are combines and plants with the highest revenue concentration and a complete production cycle: from field to counter. Each of them is aimed at increasing the volume of agricultural products in order to ultimately fully load the production capacities of processing enterprises. Therefore, it is not by chance that the head of the region looks at the areas of work entrusted to new agro-managers primarily through the prism of economic efficiency. Nikolai Sherstnev is convinced that today, at the forefront, competent and far-sighted managers are needed who are capable of strategic thinking and achieving decent results. During the operation of agro-industrial associations, the chairman of the regional executive committee personally familiarized himself with the state of affairs in each of them, objectively assessed the level of competence and management skills of the leadership of agricultural formations. Hence the personnel changes.
From now on, the director of the Glubokoye meat processing plant, Valery Lappo, has a new management portfolio. He will take the post of head of the Glubokoye agro-industrial association, created on the basis of the local dairy and canned goods plant. His predecessor, Vasily Cherednik, will head one of the largest agricultural enterprises in the region, "Rudakovo".
Personnel changes also affected large
organizations of Polotsk region. Vasily Khamyonok, the head of the agro-industrial association, which operates on the basis of the Polotsk Dairy Plant, will return to his previous position as director of the local KHP. Accordingly, his position will be taken by the first deputy general director of the Vitebsk Meat Processing Plant, Vladimir Safronov.Among the key tasks for the managers, voiced by Nikolai Sherstnev, is to give a serious impetus to the economy of the headed organizations within the next five-year period. The corps of directors is being instructed: it is important to make the enterprises entrusted to them a model of agricultural production – there are reserves for strengthening positions both in crop production and in animal husbandry. Technological discipline must be observed, and the necessity of implementing initiatives at the local level must be soberly assessed, carefully weighing them against the economy – then success is inevitable, summarized the chairman of the regional executive committee. Unjustified experiments, let alone mistakes and blunders, are unacceptable.
