Personnel Day: New Deputy Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, Director of OJSC "Postavyfurniture", OJSC "Voropayevsk Woodworking Plant"

In the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, there is a new Deputy Chairperson for Social Affairs – Tatyana Tarasevich. Her resume includes work in the district's education system; she headed the Department of Ideological Work, Culture, and Youth Affairs of the District Executive Committee for almost two years. Glubokoye is her hometown, and she is well-acquainted with the social sphere. In her current activities, Tatyana Tarasevich highlights three important areas: the high-quality implementation of optimization in the education sector, the development of physical culture and sports in the district, and the dignified organization of socio-political events. The Chairperson of the Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, asked specific questions about the progress of optimization in educational institutions and inquired about the optimality and correctness of the decisions made.

- The main thing, - emphasized Nikolai Nikolaevich, - is that children receive a decent education. Everything is subordinated to this. If a school is closed, children should be transported only to the best one, not to one of the same quality. There are no problems with transportation. The primary focus of optimization is not cost reduction, but a professional approach to the education of children.

It is important to explain all innovations to people so that they understand and accept them. The Deputy Chairperson also needs to organize work to improve the sports infrastructure already created in the district. Purchasing exercise equipment does not require large expenses, but it brings great benefits to people. Sports facilities should be attractive to both the adult population and children.

When appointing Sergey Latetsky as the Director of OJSC "Postavyfurniture", the chairperson was primarily interested in the problems characteristic of a stably operating enterprise. Currently, production is fully loaded, operating in three shifts, and profitability is growing. However, with a deeper analysis, Nikolai Sherstnev drew attention to the low level of revenue from product sales. It is necessary to break down the cost of production by all items and find new opportunities to reduce costs.

- This is the instruction of the Head of State, - emphasized the chairperson. – In addition to the main

directions – the production of school and student furniture, it is necessary to develop the production of other in-demand products.

A newhead has also been appointed at Open Joint Stock Company "Voropaevo Woodworking Plant" of Postavy District. Nikolai Chernushevich previously held various positions in the Department of Land Reclamation and Water Management, the Board of Belkoopsoyuz, and OOO "ABV-BEL" in Minsk.

Voropaevo Woodworking Plant has a high accounts payable, which must be regularly paid. The task has been set to increase the production of new types of products to generate good revenue, carry out modernization aimed at reducing production costs, and install drying chambers. The plant has become part of the state association "Vitebskprom," whose management (General Director A.S. Mashchenko) is involved in planning the effective development of the enterprise.

There are many economic and disciplinary issues concerning the staff of Agricultural Production Cooperative "Osvyeysky" of Verkhnedvinsk District, which the new head, Sergei Narubin, will have to resolve. The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee has directed the director to increase the efficiency of the livestock sector in the farm, improve the fodder base, and increase livestock density. Similar tasks have been set for the Director of OAO "Komsomolskaya Pravda" of Tolochin District, Andrei Lisov.

When extending the contract for the General Director of State Enterprise for Construction and Operation of Land Reclamation and Water Management Systems "Vitebskmeliorvodkhoz" Eduard Gerasimenko, Nikolai Sherstnev demanded that order be established on the land. Unfortunately, errors in land reclamation work are often made at the design stage. To reduce them, or even better, to avoid them, designers need to coordinate their plans with practitioners and farm managers. Budgetary funds are planned to be allocated for land improvement works next year. The General Director has been instructed to pay special attention to the improvement of the embankment in the city of Braslav.

Land is our provider; a respectful and reverent attitude towards it will pay off handsomely. If there is order on the land, we will be richer.

Svetlana DEDINKINA, chief specialist of the main department of ideological work, culture and youth affairs of the regional executive committee.
