Personnel Day: Appointment of the Director of the agricultural enterprise "Danukalovo-agro" of the Liozno district has been approved

Work on the land, food security, and technological discipline. These and much more became the main topics of the personnel day held by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev.

From the position of the Deputy Director of the agricultural enterprise "Danukalovo-Agro" of the Liozno district, Mikhail Zazit was approved for the position of head. Two more agronomists from the farms "Novoselki-Luchai" of the Postavy district, Yuri Shimchik, and "Kushliki" of the Polotsk district, Fyodor Zavadsky, had their contracts extended. The biographies and competencies of the managers show that they know the specifics and development prospects of their work areas.

In a conversation with each of them, the head of the region, analyzing production indicators, set the task to increase the volume of agricultural production and operate profitably. There are reserves for this in the crop production segment as well. The managers were urged to get the maximum return from each hectare. The emphasis is on increasing the winter acreage of cereals and cruciferous crops. An additional focus for the agricultural enterprises "Novoselki-Luchai" and "Kushliki" is to increase potato yields. As an example of successful farming in this area, "Tolochinsky Cannery" is cited, which forms 60% of the total potato harvest in our region. Managers are encouraged to expand the areas and variety of legumes, including through the use of Galega orientalis, which can be grown on stony, small-contoured, and low-productivity plots. It is noteworthy that this high-protein crop is characterized by productive longevity: it can grow in one place for up to 20 years.

Among the assignments is the formation of a proper feed base, which will have a noticeable effect in the dairy sector. This, along with proper maintenance and care of livestock, yields its benefits. And another thing: it is necessary to "patch up" the technological gaps through which profits are lost. Results are also expected from investments in animal husbandry – the reconstruction of old and construction of new premises from prefabricated structures using the self-build method. This step will significantly reduce the cost of work and shorten the commissioning time.

The head of the region has repeatedly emphasized the important role of managers leading the economic bloc. This postulate applies to the Deputy Chairman of the Chashniki District Executive Committee, Alexander Surin, whose contract extension has been approved. The manager understands that the expansion of the entrepreneurial sector, the service sector, and the increase in investment attractiveness are drivers of regional growth that need to be fully utilized. Among the instructions is to increase the effectiveness of involving unused and inefficiently used property in economic circulation. This is followed by the creation of new industries and jobs, taxes to the local budget, which are subsequently directed to the maintenance and development of sectors of the national economy. And one more case assignment, which, by the way, applies not only to those invited to the personnel day: do not separate order from production – it must be everywhere and in everything. Managers are quite capable of solving these problems, Nikolai Sherstnev is convinced.
