His new deputies joined the team of the local vertical of power: Konstantin Selivanov and Viktor Kolochev, who will henceforth oversee the housing and communal services and construction sectors, as well as the social block, respectively. The first deputy head of the administration of the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk, Viktor Galanov, has been approved for the position of chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Committee for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection. As diverse as the nature of the Vitebsk region is, so are the tasks. Indeed, the land has gifted the northern region of the country with picturesque expanses that attract tourists. Therefore, everything must be maintained in proper condition. And again, the head of the region returns to the theme of restoring order. This includes the condition of courtyards and roads, including on the outskirts of settlements. Issues of combating hogweed, reclamation of quarries, and land freed up after the demolition of dilapidated buildings and economic facilities remain relevant. There is also work to be done in waste management. The chairman of the regional executive committee has instructed to focus on the ecology of cities, particularly the regional center, and called for a comprehensive approach to the transformation of the capital of the Dvina region through landscape design and greening.

Elena Borzdyko will oversee the economic profile in the administration of the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk. Her management potential is well-known: she has worked for a long time

in the tax system in the Verkhnedvinsk district, for the last 6 years – Deputy Chairman of the district executive committee. In the new position, it is necessary to find reserves and structure priorities in the development of the Oktyabrsky district. It is necessary to influence entrepreneurial activity and the formation of a stable investment climate. However, the head of the region is in no hurry to take on new responsibilities: in Verkhnedvinsk, work on preparing for the celebration of the regional "Dazhynki" needs to be completed.

Alexander Schumacher, former Deputy Director for Economics and Finance of OJSC "Vitebsk Radio Components Plant "Monolit", has been approved for the position of head of the enterprise. The new director of the "Mnyuto" farm in the Gluboksky district, Sergey Abiralo, as well as the heads of the "Krasnolukskoye" enterprise in the Chashniksky district, Vladimir Kostyukov, and "Pridneprovsky" in the Dubrovensky district, Valery Pyrkin, whose contracts have been extended, have been instructed to increase production efficiency.
