Personnel Day: Appointment of a new director of the UP Housing and Communal Services of the Senno District has been approved, and contracts for the heads of several organizations have been extended
Every modern manager weighs their professionalism, experience, and energy. But to reach certain production heights, it is necessary to fuel this with responsibility and a хозяйский (owner-like) approach to business. This is the postulate of the personnel day held by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev.
It is fundamentally important for the head of the region to know: does the candidate for a leadership position combine knowledge of the industry and the real problems of people with healthy ambitions and management skills? Igor Brinkevich, former director of the Uzmony Krai farm in the Miory district, and now the new head of the Senno District Housing and Communal Services Unit, went through such a test. The manager understands that this sphere is life-sustaining, and any negative facts in its operation immediately become public, affecting public sentiment. After all, as practice shows, during "direct telephone lines" and receptions of citizens held by representatives of the authorities, there are many complaints and questions in this area. The chairman of the regional executive committee set the goal of minimizing them and raising the standard of living for people.
— Two years ago, Senno was transformed – "Dazhynki" was held here. But the renovation of the district center should not stop there, this is systematic work. Therefore, landscaping, cleanliness, and order are the first things the population will see and appreciate based on the results of your activities, — emphasizes Nikolai Sherstnev, additionally instructing the new head to form a strong team within the housing and communal services system and to tighten control over production and executive discipline. — The Senno region should be comfortable to live in, look decent, so that visitors can admire what they see.
Another key note in the manager's business notebook is to bring the district's industry economy into the "black". At the same time, pay special attention to the collection and processing of secondary raw materials. And this is a profitable production and a good opportunity to derive benefit from... garbage. Only to achieve an effect, waste must be separated. Plastic, broken glass, waste paper – what used to go to the landfill can now bring profit.
in the republic, a practice has taken root where local residents hand over recyclables through collection points, and utility services reduce the utility bill by the amount received for it. This results in a "thinner" utility bill and cleaner homes. After all, there is nothing to prevent the implementation of a similar operating scheme in Senno. The next block is the approval of contract extensions. This round of personnel decisions was initiated by **Dmitry Ermashkevich, Director of UP ZhKKh of Chashniksky District**. His work was positively assessed by Vladimir Belous, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee. This is supported by an important fact: the enterprise has good economic results. However, there are indicators that need to be "tightened up": the collection of used oils, household appliance waste, worn-out tires, and polymer waste. At the same time, the main emphasis is placed on the future – reducing the cost of thermal energy consumed by the population. The head considers the scope of activity for converting wood-fired boilers with manual fuel loading to automated ones operating on fuel pellets to be justified. By the way, work is currently being completed in the boiler house on Mogilevskaya Street in the village of Chereya. And on Lukomlskaya Street in the same settlement, a pellet boiler is planned to be installed in the boiler house this year. The contract has been extended for **Petr Skurko**, who has **headed the Postavy Flax Mill for over 20 years**. He knows better than anyone that the foundation of success for the entire industry is formed and laid in the fields. This year, the organization plans to reach the 5,000 mark in flax straw processing volume. Nikolay Sherstnev instructs: next year, it is necessary to sow enough to ensure the full utilization of the flax mill's production capacities. The use of new technology will, to a certain extent, improve the economic "well-being" of the organization. This will increase volumes, reduce the time for sowing, retting, and harvesting flax, which will ultimately allow for higher quality flax straw. To achieve a decent harvest in the northwestern latitudes, maximum effort must be made. And if even one of the technological operations is neglected, flax will definitely showits capricious nature. Therefore, the saying "he who sows flax will reap gold" works only with strict adherence to technologies.A conceptual task for Vladimir Pushnov and Valentin Balabosov, directors of the farms "Vedrenskoye-Agro" of Chashniki district and "Vostok-Chirino" of Dubrovno district: together with the regional agricultural department, to meticulously analyze each area of the enterprises' activity from the perspective of efficiency, to analyze what costs can be avoided, where to invest funds and what to get as a result.
The head of the region instructed to take under special control the agricultural enterprise "Kashchinskoye" of Chashniki district. While signing the approval for the extension of the contract for director Sergey Sadovsky, the chairman of the regional executive committee draws attention to both the farming practices and the strict adherence to technical regulations. The crown of labor is reflected in the figures of the farm's production and economic indicators. The first thing that catches the eye of those analyzing them is the low yield of crop production per hectare of arable land. Only 23 centners of feed units. Hence the fair criticism: with such a result, it is difficult to expect progress in animal husbandry. By the way, the position of the head of the region has been repeatedly stated at personnel days as a refrain: this indicator should be increased at least doubled, which will create a substantial feed base for cattle breeding and increase weight gain. Alongside the growth in volumes, the parameters of high revenue and profitability are "neighboring" in the chain of production success. And one more important "tenant" of this link: reducing the cost and improving the quality of the manufactured products.
The direct opposite of this organization is the branch "Pervomayskoye" of the Orsha Grain Processing Plant. The head, Nikolay Selikhanov, understands that all processes in the agricultural sector are closely interconnected; if one of them fails, the entire production chain will be disrupted.
Significant funds and efforts are invested in the village, and ultimately, returns are expected. And all shortcomings together affect the overall result. Nikolay Shershnev reminds the corps of directors: success comes to those who, as befits a true master, work thoughtfully and thriftily on
land. For such hardworking people, efficiency and profitability become priorities.
