Personnel Day: The appointment of the new First Deputy Head of the Administration of the Oktyabrsky District of Vitebsk, Head of Orsha Rayagriservice, has been approved.

With personnel decisions, the head of the region appoints managers ready to transform their assigned area of work for the better. And another mandatory tradition: everyone gets their own package of goals, tasks, and assignments.

In the main personnel line-up, there are two new surnames. Thus, Alexei Geroyev has been approved for the position of First Deputy Head of the Administration of the Oktyabrsky District of Vitebsk. He has come a long way from an engineer at a housing and utility enterprise to the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk District Executive Committee. He is familiar with the inner workings of his new position. The manager understands that people judge the institution of public administration as a whole by the effectiveness of any manager's work. Therefore, from the first days, he is focused on strengthening the authority of the entrusted district. Among the global issues is the housing stock. Many houses, according to him, have a high degree of physical wear and require major repairs. Nikolai Sherstnev instructed to take this area under special control, and at the same time, he oriented towards the further development of the Oktyabrsky District by creating social facilities and sports facilities.

Another thematic corridor for Alexei Geroyev is landscaping and maintaining order in the region. And this is not just about fighting garbage and cleaning up the territory. The meaning is much deeper: a whole complex of measures to create conditions for human life, including the condition of roads, water sources, infrastructure facilities and their adjacent territories, and street lighting. The manager proposes to base such a system on an ideological and cultural platform. The manager considers the practice of holding various events in each microdistrict to be justified, the preparation for which should be carried out not only by the local authorities but also with the active participation of the population. This includes the creation of mechanized detachments that should be involved in plowing, soil cultivation, sowing, application of mineral and organic fertilizers, chemical treatment of crops, harvesting of agricultural crops, and fodder procurement. The second is to carry out high-quality major repairs of agricultural machinery and equipment. The climate of the Vitebsk region is capricious, so farmers value literally every minute, and machine downtime is simply unacceptable. The Chairman of the regional executive committee demands: to create decent conditions for their repair and maintenance on the updated material and technical base.

The enterprise continues to improve, expanding the range of services provided and the nomenclature of goods supplied. The vector of discussed topics touched upon livestock and crop production. The "Smolyany" branch of OJSC "Orsha Food Concentrate Plant" has the lowest yield of feed units per hectare of arable land for the Orsha region – 21 centners. What does this indicate? In the opinion of the chairman of the regional executive committee, it primarily indicates inefficient use of the main means of production – land. Hence the priority task: to form a sowing and harvesting strategy in such a way as to achieve the maximum yield of feed units per hectare. The figures for livestock production are also modest. The first thing that is concerning is milk production, which has been decreasing year by year. Head Valery Savitsky is reminded: "white gold" provides year-round income in agriculture. Summer is a period of abundant and cheap milk. If you don't start making a profit during this time, you shouldn't expect positive results. No one will dispute that a cow's milk is in its tongue: the animal must be fed properly. Those who had enough areas of multi-component pastures in the spring-autumn period had results. Nikolai Sherstnev never tires of reminding: in increasing herd productivity, not only competent feeding organization is important, but also strict adherence to all requirements of the technological regulations for milk production.

The reasons for the low production and economic indicators of OJSC "Yanovicha-agro" of the Postavy district are also banal. One "trip-up" is enough, for example, as the weather did this year, and a fatal chain of "shortages" follows: less grain harvested, less livestock fed, less milk produced, less revenue received. The enterprise's situation is aggravated not only by a shaky production link but also by a financial burden. Therefore, the organization is still far from being called a strong middle-tier enterprise. But director Andrei Kozhurno has been given a chance – within six months, he must bring the farm's key positions back from "freezing" to "normal temperature."

Enterprises "Khotily-Agro" of the Postavy district and the "Zaozerye" branch of OJSC "Vitebsk Meat Processing Plant" of the Lepel district are in a different weight category compared to him, their activities
