Personnel Day: Appointments of the new Deputy Head of the Main Department for Healthcare of the Regional Executive Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Braslav District Executive Committee, Directors of "Orshasyrzavod", "Braslav-kommunalnik" have been agreed upon.

Experience, responsibility, and conscientiousness. These are perhaps among the priority qualities that managers, as well as candidates for leadership positions, should possess. It is they who determine how clearly, harmoniously, and effectively their teams will work. Therefore, no matter how tight the schedule of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, is, there is always time allocated for a detailed conversation with both new managers and the currently serving corps of directors. Such an interview on personnel day is an established practice and a continuation of the analysis of the work of all sectors, through the prism of which managerial potential is also assessed.

Those approved for leadership positions adhere to the principle of "measure seven times, cut once." The application of such a postulate will be needed by Lyudmila Kovaleva, the new Deputy Head of the Main Department for Healthcare of the Regional Executive Committee, to understand the issue of the feasibility of creating a clinical center at the Vitebsk State Medical University. The idea of its implementation is dictated by reality: life is becoming more technologically saturated, and medicine must also meet the demands of the time. The university, in Nikolai Sherstnev's conviction, is an indicator of advanced scientific thought, where all the latest developments and methodologies are intertwined. It is assumed that a clinic equipped with modern equipment, where all processes will be "tested" with the participation of students, teachers, and doctors, will allow for the accumulation of the educational process, science, and practice in one core. For now, this idea requires in-depth elaboration, particularly the definition of the "set" of medical fields for which this work will be carried out. Hence the task: to justify the need for the clinic's creation, outline its concept, and support it with appropriate calculations.

A new format of a comfortable public environment should be a priority for Braslav. In less than a year, the district center will host the regional "Dazhynki" festival. This means it is necessary to gain cruising speed and even more meticulously and thoroughly refine everyday issues:

to improve recreation areas, streets and squares, to spruce up every yard, building. From now on, this is a zone of control for two new managers in this sector: Georgy Bushunov and Petr Belus, approved for the positions of Deputy Chairman of the Braslav District Executive Committee and Director of the State Unitary Enterprise of Housing and Communal Services "Braslav-kommunalnik", respectively. For each of them, this is a step up the career ladder. The new area of work is under a magnifying glass. It is no secret that every element reveals the owner of the territory: whether it be neat yards and cozy playgrounds, cleared bushes in vacant lots, or tidy road shoulders and their repaired surface. Managers are warned: irresponsibility must not be allowed. Landscaping work is not only the task of utility workers. Residents of the district center themselves need to be more conscious of the place where they live. Braslav residents should not remain on the sidelines in the matter of maintaining order. Their efforts are for themselves, for the younger generation, for their small homeland.

To bring State Production Unitary Enterprise "Orshasyrzavod" onto a trajectory of sustainable growth is a task for the approved Director Andrey Borisenko. The main benchmarks on the enterprise's development map have been identified, which need to be translated into real actions. These include reducing costs, lowering the energy intensity of products, and increasing production and export volumes.

Chief Agronomist of Open Joint Stock Company "Buevshchina" of Sharkovshchina District, Viktor Atrashkevich, has been approved for the position of Director. On the one hand, it is easier for a local leader. He knows the people, their way of life, and the enterprise's pain points. But, on the other hand, belonging to the land where he works imposes even greater responsibility. It is the crop production topic that the head of the region raises first. The farm is not simple. The fields do not boast high fertility. The soils are heavy, loamy. All this, as a result, affects the harvest, which also depends on how the crops are cared for, whether they are sown on time, fertilized, and treated for weeds... Among the problematic aspects of the farm is the low yield of feed units per hectare of arable land.

— Land is a matrix into which one mustconstantly invest. Every hectare must work for the economy. Then the livestock unit will also show high results. The enterprise functions well where the owner's hand is felt, — noted Nikolai Sherstnev, giving the manager instructions for effective work.

It is a well-known truth: a good owner is not afraid of winter cold: livestock are fed heartily, cows are healthy and give birth annually, young animals gain weight significantly, and barns are filled to the brim. This should be the case in every agricultural enterprise where the agromanager does not deal with extinguishing "burning issues" but builds their own strategy for the organization's development, thanks to which the growth of many indicators is obvious. This is the tactic of **Alexander Koltunov, director of the "Goryany-Agro" branch of OJSC "Polotsk Grain Processing Plant,"** whose contract extension has been approved. The cattle density here is 146 heads per 100 hectares of farmland. The average milk yield for the current period of this year is about 5 thousand kilograms per cow.

**OJSC "Polotsk Agroservice," headed by Alexander Kruglyakov,** whose contract extension has also been approved, is in a different weight category compared to "Goryany-Agro." Alexander Kruglyakov understands that milk yields, their level compared to last year, and marketability are monitored daily. It is important not only to milk more but also to improve the quality characteristics of the products. The success of "white gold" production depends on feed, reproduction, and animal keeping conditions. The main "recipe" for producing a quality "milk cocktail" lies in adhering to all technologies of a single chain at all stages of production: from field to counter. And this is what the chairman of the regional executive committee constantly reminds everyone of.

The head of the region calls on all managers to define a clear vector for tomorrow today, with an emphasis on efficiency and maximizing profit. And to tighten the screws on losses if the thread of costs has been stripped. The progress of each manager and their entire team must be evident. After all, a true leader is one who leads, not one who waits to be led by the hand.
