Personnel Day: Appointments of heads of the administration of the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk, directors of housing and communal services and agro-industrial complex organizations have been agreed upon
Alexander Tikhonov is well-known in the region's business community – for over ten years, he served as Deputy Head of the Investment Policy and Foreign Economic Relations Department, and Head of the Foreign Economic Activity Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Economy Committee. The economic direction for the district, rightfully considered the heart of Vitebsk, is now his area of responsibility. Oleg Matskevich emphasized the need for the district administration to actively engage with enterprises of republican subordination, as well as those of private ownership. They are important sources for replenishing the state budget, and local authorities must show more initiative in partnership relations.
Pavel Shikshnyan has led the Housing and Communal Services Department of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee for the past four years. He will now oversee the same area in the Oktyabrsky District of Vitebsk. Oleg Sergeevich advised the head to put an end to the bad practice of evasive responses in resolving housing and utility issues for citizens. The district has utility companies – they should focus on developing their own production facilities that will bring them profit. Also among the tasks is to establish systematic work with homeowners' associations (there are 72 in the district). People must receive quality services, and the administration has the right to demand this from the associations.
Vladislav Muzhichenko has been approved for the position of Chief Physician of the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Center for Medical Rehabilitation for Disabled Persons and Veterans of Combat Operations in the Territory of Other States. Since 2005, he headed the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers. The main task that the chief physician of the institution will address this year is the completion of construction and commissioning of the new building of the center.
Andrei Sidyuk has been approved as the Director of the State Unitary Enterprise "Housing and Communal Services of Ushachi District", having previously worked as the Deputy Director of this enterprise. Anatoly Zenkov has been approved as the Director of the Agricultural Production Cooperative "Lovzhanskoye" of Shumilino District. Presenting this candidate, the Deputy General Director of the Open Joint Stock Company "Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant" Andrei Bulavkin noted that A. Zenkov had been acting as the director of this enterprise since October last year and had time to settle in and develop a strategy for further development: it is necessary to improve livestock performance and competently address herd reproduction issues. The leadership of the regional executive committee has directed the manager to work effectively towards the timely payment of wages to the farm workers.
The directors of the Agricultural Production Cooperative "Mishnevichi" of Shumilino District Mikhail Tikovenko, Open Joint Stock Company "Turkovo" of Miory District Ivan Yurashok, Open Joint Stock Company "Gluboksky Agroservice" Andrei Murashko, Open Joint Stock Company "Nurovo" of Verkhnedvinsk District Vladimir Fedesin, and General Director of Open Joint Stock Company "Postavy Dairy Plant" Konstantin Gailevsky have undergone the approval procedure for contract extensions. Where positive dynamics have emerged, it is important to consolidate them and continue with new independent initiatives. For example, "Turkovo" needs to strengthen its supplies with new equipment, and "Gluboksky Agroservice" needs to continue to increase revenue from sales and sales profitability. The Postavy Dairy Plant is essentially an agro-industrial association that includes five agricultural organizations in the district. The plant constantly improves technologies and purchases new equipment. For further development, it is necessary to expand the raw material zone.
The tasks set before the leaders at the personnel day should be resolved promptly and competently, taking into account people's interests.
