Personnel Day: Appointments of heads of "Vitebskobselstroy", "Orshanskaya Poultry Farm" were approved

Energy for acceleration on the path of efficient management will be needed by new leaders and the current director corps. This is an axiom of the personnel day held by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev.

Denis Mazurkevich, who was approved for the position of General Director of the State Enterprise "Vitebskobelselstroy", was presented with three main components for the organization's promising development: expanding the range of services, increasing the volume of construction and installation work, and more active participation in tenders. The manager also understands one of the important requirements of the region's head: every element in the large production chain must be calculated, verified, and yield financial and economic benefits.

Before signing the approval for Vladimir Prokhorov for the position of Head of "Orshanskaya Poultry Farm", Nikolai Sherstnev urged to change the management methodology of the enterprise, whose products should firmly establish themselves on domestic shelves.

— To achieve this, it is necessary to delve deeply into economic analysis, including studying competitors' strategies, which will allow for competent distribution of flows in the domestic market. In addition, it is important to propose projects that enhance the brand's marketing activity. If there is a clear strategy, there will be a shelf space, — emphasized Nikolai Nikolaevich.

It is important to understand one more point: manufacturers fight for store shelves and customers' wallets by all available means. The main one is, of course, cost reduction. The customer should ultimately appreciate the quality and affordable price of the offered products, and supply partners should value the manufacturer's reliability and commitment, which guarantees its stable presence in retail chains. Detailed work will also need to be done with the logistics "wing," primarily within the region. Another issue on the agenda, according to the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Economy Committee, Anzhelika Nikitina, is cost reduction, particularly for heat and energy resources, as the current situation with the cost component is significantly

restricts effective enterprise development. This can be resolved through modernization. Managers are being instructed: all these assignments must be converted into real actions.

Andrei Murashko, who has been approved for the position of Director of OJSC "Gluboksky Agroservice", is focused on maximizing the revitalization of the company's multifaceted operations. The head aims to revive the organization's entire initial functionality. This includes the creation of mechanized detachments that will be involved in plowing, soil cultivation, sowing, application of mineral and organic fertilizers, chemical treatment of crops, harvesting of agricultural products, and fodder procurement. Another important aspect is the resumption of the dealership center for the repair of agricultural machinery and equipment.

The discussion on technical support continued during the approval of appointments for the positions of heads of farms "Rubezhnitsa" and "Priozyorny Mir" – Marina Shalupkina and Yuri Savitsky, as well as the extension of contracts for Ivan Doroshchenko ("Velikodoletskoye"), Vladislav Beynar ("Vidszovsky"), and Vasily Gubanov ("Drissensky"). The topic was raised for a reason – many technological processes are based on mechanization. Agromen are reminded: preservation, careful handling, and rational use must come to the forefront. The strict examiner will be the GPS navigation system installed on the equipment, which allows real-time tracking of labor productivity and actual fuel consumption.

Managers are urged: in preparation for spring field work, it is necessary to engage the "fifth gear." People who work the land live by their own special schedule. It is dictated by nature, and for every task, it has its own time, missing which means remaining without bread. The laws of our climatic zone do not allow for relaxation for a single hour. Therefore, special attention should be paid to soil preparation for spring sowing and strict adherence to the sowing area structure communicated to each agricultural organization. This is the future harvest of the region for 2019. In such a matter, losing ground in terms of pace and volume for farmers is equivalent to losing face. This also applies to

feed preparation, which is as important as grain harvesting. The main goal is to increase the yield of fodder lands to generate more revenue from the sale of livestock products. Profitable farms are those that get over 6 tons of milk per cow per year. But there are also those that only get 2-3 tons. Why such a significant difference? The answer is simple: the production technology is not followed. A deficit of discipline and order can sometimes be very costly, dragging down the economy of enterprises and the incomes of farmers. Conclusion: personnel responsibility must be strengthened.

The count of changes should begin with labor motivation. Since last year, a new wage scheme for certain categories of APK workers in the region has been tied to results. However, the old problem is evident here: some farms are struggling to restructure and adopt new rails of effective management. A flexible approach to business, the ability to calculate expenses and future income in advance are the keys to success, reminds Nikolai Nikolaevich.

The activities of Vitebskhlebprom OJSC were positively assessed by the chairman of the regional executive committee. The head of the region cites the competent production management with an optimal staff size of the enterprise as an example for meat and dairy processing organizations. Vitebskhlebprom is reaching new heights, discovering interesting prospects for cooperation and establishing new partnerships. According to General Director Mikhail Roga, whose contract extension has been approved, one of the promising areas – products with an emphasis on healthy eating – contributes to this to some extent.

Priorities in the activities of managers have been set. Now the main thing is to bring dynamism to work in all directions.
