Personnel Day: Three managers from Sharkovshchina district approved, new Deputy Chairman of Gorodok District Executive Committee, First Deputy Head of the Education Department of the Regional Executive Committee

To the Head of Administration For making the right decision, there is often a lack of in-depth economic analysis of the current situation in production, in a specific field of activity. That economics is the engine of progress, **Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev** has repeatedly stated at personnel days when appointing new heads to positions and extending their contracts. The Governor demands thorough consideration of each issue with a focus on forecast indicators. So far, unfortunately, there are few illustrative examples of the work of economic services in the field.

At the personnel day, three heads from the Sharkovshchyna district were approved. The region, by definition, is one of the most challenging in the oblast in terms of natural and soil conditions, with a high budget subsidy level and underdeveloped industry. **Irena Buko, Head of the District Executive Committee's Economics Department, has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee**. She clearly stated her position on the region's development: for the district to be self-sufficient, it is necessary to create enterprises and open new production facilities. There are already developments for this. For example, a Latvian investor is ready to develop woodworking in the district, and premises for this have been selected. Nikolai Nikolaevich supported the proposals, drawing attention to the fact that unused buildings should be transferred to communal ownership and put up for auction for one base value. If an investor has shown interest, they should be accommodated.

New directors have also been appointed to the agricultural enterprises of the Sharkovshchyna district, im. Markova and "Gorodets" - Yuri Lazarets and Viktor Krasnodubsky. In the farms, they plan a phased transition to efficient farming, so that crop production serves the interests of livestock farms. Nikolai Sherstnev also instructed to tidy up the facade of the ancient noble estate in the village of Gorodets. The farm's office is located in the historical building, and it is a matter of honor for the administration to maintain the cultural monument in proper condition.

Marina Zdólnikova has been appointed Deputy Chairman for Social Affairs of the Horodok District Executive Committee. The district is new for her – before that, Marina Anatolyevna had for more than ten years

headed the culture department of the Vitebsk regional executive committee. In the Gorodok district, it is necessary to actively use the tourism potential by developing the infrastructure of the lake region. The chairman of the regional executive committee instructed the new head to pay special attention to the development of healthcare and education, which is important for the demographics and attractiveness of the border region.

Elena Bogdanovich has been appointed First Deputy Head of the Education Department of the Regional Executive Committee. It is noteworthy that Elena Leonidovna went through all the stages in the school education system: she worked as a teacher, deputy principal, chief specialist, and then head of the general education department of the education department. The governor, having listened to Elena Leonidovna's opinion on the quality of education in secondary schools, set her a serious task: to raise the level of rural school education to the level of a city gymnasium. The authorities are ready to provide assistance and support in this direction.

When agreeing to extend the contract with Vitaly Trofimenkov, director of KUP ZhKH "Braslav-kommunalnik", Nikolai Sherstnev returned to the pressing issue of arranging the embankment of Lake Drivyaty in the center of Braslav. The resort town should have a decent embankment. According to forecasts, up to 15,000 music and outdoor enthusiasts from all over the country and abroad will gather at the promoted Viva Braslav festival this year. This is the only major festival in Belarus with a beach, an extensive sports program, and a tent city; it will be held in Braslav for the fifth time. The governor set the task for the head of the district housing and communal services to meet the festival guests at a high organizational level – to think through every detail.

A principled conversation took place with the heads of Sirotinsky farms in the Shumilinsky district and the Experimental Base "Vetrinskaya" in the Polotsk district. The heads of these enterprises have not yet been able to achieve positive development dynamics for the farms. Low production indicators indicate a lack of effective management. As a result, Nikolai Prigodich and Sergey Mazinsky have been given a deadline – one year to achieve

effective work.

However, at the Vymno branch of OAO Moloko, the cattle population and milk yield are growing, and the weight gain of young animals has improved. The branch director, Nikolai Kakushkin, says that the help of the "elder brother" - the parent enterprise - is tangible. To continue growing, the branch needs to refine its technology and improve milk quality. This task was set for the branch by the governor.

- The heads will be held strictly accountable. You can only respond to the trust placed in you through your actions, - emphasized Nikolai Sherstnev.
