"Radically change the attitude towards work" - this is the task set by Nikolai Sherstnev to the appointed heads of agricultural enterprises
At the personnel meeting with the chairman of the regional executive committee, Viktor Khvoshch and Alexander Vorona are approved for the positions of directors of Polotsk and Glubokoye Rayagropromservice. Alexander Dervoed, director of OJSC "Orshansky Rayagropromservice", is also invited to extend his contract. All three understand: there is only one way out - to increase production and the pace of service provision.
- Farms in any district need teams like yours – for providing technical assistance, services for fodder harvesting, plant protection, chemical weeding, fertilizer application, soil liming, - is confident Nikolay Nikolaevich Sherstnev.
The performance indicators at Glubokoye Rayagropromservice are low. The enterprise is operating at a loss in fodder harvesting, and the growth rate of gross output is declining. However, it is possible to send equipment for fodder harvesting to neighboring districts, where there is uncut grass even along the roads!
- We need to fundamentally change our attitude towards work, plan every step, count every liter of fuel, every part for the car, - the chairman advises. - The way you assemble the team is the way you will work.
Orsha Agroservice was one of the best in the country, now its revenue per employee has fallen by almost half compared to 2014. Yes, MAZ trucks are in demand today, they travel without days off - greenhouses are being built in the region, and road transport brings good income to Agroservice. Alexander Dervoed is looking for new service options. The farm has increased its arable land by 2.5 times: over 8 thousand hectares, the dairy herd is small - only 2043 cows, and sales profitability has sharply decreased (-19.2%). The lack of systematic work by the management does not yield positive results.
- Orsha, Tolochin, Dubrovno districts are our breadbaskets, - says Nikolai Sherstnev. - Agroservice teams will always have work to do, they need to expand the range of profitable services.
New heads at OJSC "Konstantinov Dvor" of Gluboksky district and KUSKhP "AgroBeresnyovka" of Dokshitsky district are Yuri Vakhovich and Valery Glukhovsky. The economy of both enterprises leaves much to be desired. However, indicators are formed from the first tractor's departure to the field, from the technological track execution, from crop protection and feeding. Yuri Vakhovich needs to optimize the number of employees, increase milk marketability by ten points, and improve other livestock indicators. For Valery Glukhovsky, it is important to focus on fodder procurement to increase the weight gain of cattle.
Revenue per employee has sharply decreased at KUSKhP "Chashnikskoe" of Chashniksky district. The chairman of the regional executive committee assessed the situation strictly: complete lack of control by the head. The new director, Nikolai Malyuchenko, who previously headed Chashniksky Agroservice, has been tasked with correcting the situation.
The young director of OJSC "Lovzhanskoe" of Shumilinsky district, Alexey Pytko, presented a clear action program at the personnel day. The number one task is staffing the livestock complex. Already in July, the farm plans to achieve average daily weight gains of 800 grams. Through improving the feed structure, milk yield per cow will be increased. The internal logistics of the enterprise will be reviewed so that no machine operator works in vain.
Nikolai Sherstnev supported this action program, noting that the complex's staffing is the responsibility of the district executive committee chairman. It is recommended to pay more attention to beef cattle, the costs of which are recouped twice as fast as for dairy farming. When appointing Nikolai Kakushkin as director of the "Vymno" branch of OAO "Moloko", the chairman of the regional executive committee set him the task of restoring order in agriculture. It is unacceptable for the best lands in the district to be poorly cultivated.
Along with agricultural directors, heads of industrial enterprises were also present at the personnel meeting. Vladimir Troitsky, who previously headed the Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant, has been appointed director of OAO "Orshansky Instrumental Plant". Nikolai Sherstnev predicts that the enterprise may soon become municipal property of the region. Russia is a priority direction for developing partnerships. It is necessary to create prerequisites for strengthening cooperative ties and more persistently offer our platform to Russian investors. After all, the enterprise has retained competent specialists, and this is always attractive.
OAO "Orshaagroprommash", managed by Igor Sinyakov since 2008, is in a difficult situation. The Baranovichi Silage Tower Plant, with a large backlog of debts, was attached to the Orsha machine builders. What is the way out of this situation? The chairman of the regional executive committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, considers the merger inexpedient and insists on returning to consider this issue at the ministry level.
- Your strategic direction is to shape your policy for the agro-industrial complex, expand the product range, and find new sales markets in Central Asia and Latin America.
The director of OJSC "Vitebsk Plant of Electrical Measuring Instruments" Yevgeny Lyadvin has also been tasked with preserving the team and intensifying efforts to conclude contracts for new developments.
Summing up the personnel day, the chairman of the regional executive committee demanded that the enterprise managers act confidently and quickly to achieve positive development dynamics. Plan for results and economic benefits – and the effect will be there.
