How the construction and reconstruction of sports facilities is proceeding in the Vitebsk region

Last year, the "Atlant" stadium in Novopolotsk was reconstructed. This year, a sports and recreation complex in Lepel and a dormitory for athletes at the "Yunost-Ushachi" sports and recreation complex are being commissioned, and the reconstruction of the "Spartak" stadium in Polotsk is being completed. And the most significant construction project is a multifunctional sports complex in Vitebsk in the Bilevo microdistrict. It will be a gift for the entire region. It will feature two swimming pools (50 and 25 meters), diving towers and facilities for freestyle skiers, modern halls for team sports, wrestling, a gym and fitness rooms, a cafe, a mini-hotel, and much more. Everything will be in accordance with high standards for hosting major competitions. Construction is expected to begin this year.
