The utility building in Orsha was sold at auction with a price increase of more than 1000 times
In the final days of the outgoing year, the State Property Committee of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee put the utility building of the Orsha Central Polyclinic up for electronic auction, setting the starting price at one basic unit.
The electronic auction attracted not only the largest number of participants this year – there were 8 bidders – but also the maximum price increase: the property was sold for 55,043 Belarusian rubles, which is 1310 times the starting price.
The winner was an individual – a resident of the city of Orsha.
Throughout 2025, the committee put 385 unused state property objects up for auction. If no buyers were found, the objects were put up for auction again. In total, 1096 auctions were announced during the year.
135 unused real estate objects have been sold since the beginning of the year, which has not only allowed for the utilization of unused state property in the region's development but also replenished the state budget by 4.1 million rubles.
By the beginning of 2026, the committee has already scheduled over 50 auctions for the sale of unused state property. Almost all objects are offered for sale using the electronic trading platform.
