A flowerbed-statue in the form of a girl with cornflowers has become the center of Vitebsk's floral ensemble

Employees of Vitebsk Zelenstroy State Enterprise have increased the pace of floral decoration in Vitebsk.

We have already reported that, in addition to the usual approaches to floral decoration of the "Slavianski Bazaar" capital, the course has been set for vertical landscaping. New interesting structures for it are planned for Freedom and Victory Squares, near the Summer Amphitheatre, on the central streets of Vitebsk, and in the square on Bogdan Khmelnitsky Street. Kirov and Oktyabrsky bridges have again been decorated with a bright floral carpet.

The highlight of the floral ensemble near the Summer Amphitheatre is the flowerbed-statue, recently created – a floral silhouette of a girl holding cornflowers, the main symbol of the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk International Arts Festival. Undoubtedly, the composition will become a primary natural photo zone for citizens and festival guests.

Bush roses and cannas are already in full bloom in the flowerbeds near the amphitheatre. This year, the enterprise has expanded the range of plant species used for floral decoration in Vitebsk. In addition to traditional ones, they are planting alternanthera, bacopa, and ground ivy seedlings, which have been used in previous years and have proven themselves well in terms of both decorativeness and resistance to wind and rain.
