The staff of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office congratulated prosecutor's office veteran Valery Efimovich Galay on his 70th birthday

Valery Yefimovich was born in the village of Zaruzhenye, Lepel district, Vitebsk region. After graduating from secondary school in 1969, he worked as a fitter at the Lepel Repair Plant, then served in the army. After demobilization, he worked as an instructor for the DOSAAF Lepel district committee. In 1978, he graduated from the Kharkiv Law Institute and was assigned to work in the prosecutor's office of the Vitebsk region.

Valery Yefimovich dedicated 32 years to the service of the Law. He began his career as a trainee prosecutor in the Senno district, then as an investigator in the Senno district prosecutor's office. In 1986, he was transferred to the regional prosecutor's office, where he worked as a senior investigator, prosecutor of the investigative department, senior prosecutor of the department for supervision of investigations in the prosecutor's office, internal affairs bodies, and inquiries, senior prosecutor of the department for supervision of investigations in the prosecutor's office, and for 10 years until his retirement, he was the senior assistant to the regional prosecutor for supervision of legislation on state security.

Possessing the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical experience for prosecutorial activities, Valery Yefimovich worthily fulfilled his official duty. In resolving official issues, he showed demandingness and principledness. He was distinguished by integrity, objectivity, and a benevolent attitude towards people.

Valery Yefimovich's professionalism and conscientious attitude towards the performance of his official duties were repeatedly noted by the Prosecutor of the BSSR, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus, and the Prosecutor of the Vitebsk region.

While on well-deserved retirement, Valery Yefimovich leads an active lifestyle, having enough energy for both tending his household plot and participating in his granddaughter's upbringing.

On his anniversary, the Deputy Regional Prosecutor Korenko G.A. and the Head of the Personnel and Ideological Work Department Lisovskaya T.N. congratulated Valery Yefimovich on his anniversary and wished that every new day be filled only with positive emotions and joyful events, and that he always have a good mood and strong health.
