State Property Committee: Former school and shop in Shumilino district sold at auction

The Vitebsk Regional Property Committee sold the former school building in the village of Pobeda, Shumilino district, at auction for a base rate. The facility was built at the end of the 19th century, and before the revolution, it housed a royal gymnasium. The building has not been used in recent years – attempts to sell it began in 2018. During this period, it was put up for auction 7 times.

As a result, the school building with sheds, a greenhouse, and a boiler room was sold for 60 rubles to a resident of Vitebsk. The new owner plans to organize craft activities here, with ceramics production as the main focus.

The building of the utility store, located in the center of Shumilino, which was put up for auction for the 4th time, was also sold. This time, the store was offered with a price reduction of 80% – 2 buyers were interested in this price. During the bidding, at the 18th step of the auction, the store was sold for 64,650 rubles to a resident of Vitebsk district. This facility is still planned to be used in the trade sector.
