Committee for State Property of the Regional Executive Committee: 101 auctions scheduled for May to sell unused state property

Комитет государственного имущества облисполкома: на май назначен 101 аукцион по продаже неиспользуемого госимущества
The most expensive state property object sold in April was a complex of buildings of a psychiatric hospital in Slobodka agro-town, Braslav district, with a total building area of 7000 sq.m.

The new owner plans to open a wellness detox center – a weight correction center – on its basis.

The former hospital is located on a land plot of 12 hectares on the shore of Ilmenek Lake. It was acquired by a foreign investor at an electronic auction for 231 thousand rubles.

The same investor purchased a similar facility in Braslav last year for the creation of a high-comfort nursing home.

In total, the committee announced 291 auctions for the sale of unused state property objects in 4 months of this year. 41 auctions were successful, with over 900 thousand rubles transferred to the state budget.

The committee has already scheduled 101 auctions for May. At the same time, more than 80 real estate objects are offered for sale for one basic unit.

Among the objects offered in May, four have the status of historical and cultural value objects. Thus, the Carmelite monastery located in the center of Glubokoye is put up for auction. The former monastery building, built in the 18th century, is offered for one basic unit.

Other architectural monuments for sale include the former count's estate located in Vidzy-Lovchinskie village, Braslav district, situated on the shore of Dvornoe Lake; the station house built in the mid-19th century in Pogrebenka village, Senno district, and the former winery on Pokrovskaya Street in Vitebsk, whose administrative building also has the status of a historical and cultural value object.
