State Property Committee: School in Lepel District Sold for Basic Rate

A two-story school building in the village of Novye Volosovichi with a total area of 3352 sq. m., including a greenhouse, a shed, a sports ground, as well as water supply and sewerage, has been sold at auction.

The school served children from 1984 until the summer of 2017, when a decision was made to close it and put it into economic circulation by selling it. During this period, the school was put up for auction 7 times, including 2 times at the base price, but no buyers were found.

Ultimately, it was sold to a single buyer, a resident of Minsk. In the future, the school will be used in the sphere of providing household services to the population.

In accordance with the sale conditions, within 2 years the new owner must carry out the reconstruction of the facility and organize entrepreneurial activity.

The sold school became the 114th object sold by the committee at auction this year, of which 71 objects were sold at auction at the base price. This has not only put idle facilities into economic circulation but also replenished the state budget by more than 2.7 million rubles.
