State Property Committee: in the Orsha district, 129 out of 693 identified real estate objects remain uninvolved in economic circulation

An off-site meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus was held in Orsha, where the effectiveness of the implementation of the Orsha District Development Program was considered. In particular, issues of involving unused real estate objects into economic circulation were raised as one of the main reserves for economic development.

It should be recalled that thanks to the adoption of Decree No. 506, the region has been provided with unprecedented support measures designed to stimulate development in all areas of activity.

In accordance with the government's instructions, the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee, together with the Orsha District Executive Committee, updated the list of unused real estate objects in the region.

Initially, during the inspection of the use of property of both state and private ownership conducted in September 2018, 624 unused objects were identified. A plan was developed for all objects to involve them in economic circulation, broken down by year until 2023.

Over the past 3 years, 581 objects have been involved in economic circulation or demolished. As of today, 129 objects remain uninvolved.
