State Property Committee: Objects for gratuitous transfer to investors have been identified in the Vitebsk region

The "Vitebsk Regional Property" Committee, together with district and city executive committees, has updated the list of properties in the region that can be transferred free of charge to investors for the implementation of investment projects.

Many new properties have appeared in this list, including, for the first time, properties located in Vitebsk itself.

For example, investors are offered a large list of unused properties of the former OJSC "KIM" located in Vitebsk at 42 Gorky Street.

The "KIM" factory, which produced knitted and hosiery products, was once one of the major city-forming enterprises of Vitebsk. However, due to the bankruptcy of the enterprise in 2019, a large complex of unused real estate remained.

During this period, 6 properties have already been sold by the committee at auction. But 14 properties remained unclaimed. Now they can be offered to investors free of charge, both as a whole complex and individually, for the implementation of investment projects.

The properties have various areas – from a salt warehouse with an area of 38 sq. m. to a 3-story main building with an area of over 10,000 sq. m.

Also among the properties that may interest investors in Vitebsk is the production site of the former OJSC "Vitebsk Winery" on Pokrovskaya Street in Vitebsk.

After the liquidation of the plant in 2017, an unused complex of 10 buildings with areas ranging from 10 sq. m. to 1875 sq. m. remained in state ownership.

These properties have already been put up for auction by the committee 3 times, both at appraised value and with a reduced sale price, but unfortunately, no buyers were found.

In total, as of today, the list includes 101 real estate properties, including 333 buildings, in the region that can be offered to investors. You can find more details about the list on the website of the regional executive committee and the website of the "Vitebsk Regional Property" Committee.
